Quantified Self and personalisation

Quantified Self and personalisation

Samenvatting

The central theme of the evening "Herrie aan Tafel" is: Digital Innovation – Personalised Drachten products. All employees and managers prepared themselves by reading the book “The essentials of digital innovation”. An inspiring lecture on Quantified Self and Personalisation will be provided by Martijn de Groot. Martijn de Groot (1975) is a medical biologist (MSc) with a background in teaching (MEd) and medical science (PhD). After his PhD research he has worked as a researcher, teacher and developer of higher education programs for the University Medical Center Groningen, the Premedical University and the Hanze University of Applied Sciences Groningen. He has a special interest in the integration of technology and biology. He is one of the co-founders of the Quantified Self Institute and served as research director since its launch in 2012. His scientific research and higher education activities are about personalized digital health with a focus on personalized (single-subject-design) science and self-tracking for healthy ageing. His lecture on Quantified Self and Personalisation tonight aims to inspire the employees and managers of Philips Drachten to come up with new propositions in a digital world.
