Samenvatting

The warehouse of ABS Safety has received several extensions, since the company has grown a lot in recent years. Therefor the management has the suspicion that the order picking processcould be more efficient. The analysis identified different causes, which negatively influences the order picking time,during the project and the the travel distance to the storage location is identified as the main cause. The given solution is an ABC storage strategy, which also leads to an reduce of a few other identified causes.
