Samenvatting

The theme of the research is “Moving dairy farmers from informal to formal milk supply chain” A case study of Tanga Dairy Cooperative Union in Tanga district, Tanzania”. The study was carried out in two wards of Tanga district namely Pingon and Pongwe, between the end of June and the fist half of August 2018, Tanzania. The objective of the study was to give the recommendations to the TDCU on the strategies which can be followed to improve milk supply of sufficient level throughout the year.
