This study intended to investigate the possibilities of red bulb onion curing practices at farm level in order to provide useful advice to stakeholders on strategies for value chain development that contributing to the onion farmers’ income. Survey, case study and desk review were used as research method to find out the current situation of red bulb onion value chain and possibilities of implementing onion curing practices at farm level both in Rubavu district.
