The Implementation of Critical Thinking in education, in Russia and The Netherlands

Samenvatting

In this bachelor 's thesis, Critical Thinking is researched. It was investigated to what extent Psychology students of a Russian State University and Applied Psychology students of a Dutch University of Applied Sciences are thinking critically. This was done by a questionnaire, the CT-HK. Lecturers of the Dutch University of Applied Sciences also filled in the questionnaire, giving their opinion to what extent their students are thinking critically. Based on the results of the questionnaire an intervention was designed, in order to improve the level of critcal thinking among the students. This intervention is adapted to the curriculum of both the Dutch University of Applied Sciences, as well to the curriculum of the Russian State University, meaning that intervention can be conducted immediately.
