Geschwisterbeziehungen und die Arbeit mit Geschwistern bei Anorexia nervosa Patienten der Czerny Station des Universitätsklinikums Münster

Geschwisterbeziehungen und die Arbeit mit Geschwistern bei Anorexia nervosa Patienten der Czerny Station des Universitätsklinikums Münster

Samenvatting

This bachelor- thesis is about the subject “Relations between siblings and the work with siblings of patients with Anorexia nervosa at Czerny ward of the university medical centre Münster”. The intention of this work is to work out how the relations of siblings of anorectic patients are constructed, which impact they have on the disease and the course of disease and whether the work at the station attaches enough importance to this subject.
The target group is as an inpatient medicated anorectic patients which were interviewed about how they value their relations to their siblings and how people at Czerny work with their siblings with help of a guided interview. Furthermore there were two employees asked about the subject ‘The work with siblings at Czerny ward’.
The research project was essentially structured in three sections: theoretical basis, data acquisition and data evaluation. Following this structured approach, the research team was able to obtain clear results and to create an image about the patients’ view on interaction with their siblings and whether this is integrated in everyday life at Czerny. This process looms that integration is not reasonable compared to the importance for the patients.
To transfer the results of this research it is recommended to repeat the process. Thus the transformations of typical anorectic characteristics of sibling relations can be uncovered and possible structural changes in work can be analyzed even though employees are not aware of the fact that the source of these changes are the results of the research.
The authors hope that this practical research contributes the development of professional methodology in working with anorectic patients and their siblings at Czerny.
