Samenvatting

My work placement activities in the Spares Part Sales Administration were divided in two parts. The first was the creation of a database which manages the follow-up of the orders to be more effective and centered towards the customer.
This application has for goal to create the acknowledgment of receipt that is done after the order demand and use the information written by the user or recovered in the ALSTOM's database. All this information allows the user to make a follow-up of the orders item by
item to react in the event of delay on the order and inform the customer.
The second part of my work placement consisted to improve the offer part of this job. The offer is made by the Spares parts sector but need the participation of a lot of other sectors.
My mission consisted to explain in detail with a diagram what is the exact way from the demand to the answer.
The main problem is the treatment time. We don't know if we need one week or one year to treat the customer's demand. The work is not to reduce the time but calculate it and give an approximate delay at the customer.
