The Electronic Portal Image Device (EPID) is only used to verify the patient's position during treatment, but the EPID has much more potential than just position verification. The EPID can be used for multiple purposes and therefore MAASTRO clinic is developing their own software. Matlab is the most common software-developing-environment in MAASTRO clinic.
