Samenvatting

This study investigates the relationship between environmental factors and cetacean sightings along the southern coast of Tenerife. Over five years, data were collected during whale watching tours to assess how factors such as air temperature, visibility, wind force and swell influence the presence of cetaceans. The main goal is to determine which environmental factors influence sightings probability, ultimately improving models for conservation and sustainable tourism.
