Summary

The goal of this research is not to elaborate on the biodynamic aspect of the project, but to underpin the reasons why certain decisions are made whilst tracing the evolution of decisions throughout these past months. Therefore, this research retraces the evolution of the food system with a Political Ecology (PE) lens to determine the specifics of the project. Relevant aspects will be analysed to then think of how the farm can responsibly respond with coherent farming activities and in turn, progress towards ecological transition. Although PLO 6 refers to a trends analysis, the context of this project requires a historical analysis that looks into how socio-economic and geo-political factors have historically evolved to culminate to today’s state of the food system.
