This thesis focuses on enhancing Reveal, a philosophical party game app by HUMAN, designed to
foster engaging philosophical discussions among young adults aged 20-30.
The study aimed to improve Revealandapos;s Party Mode to boost user enjoyment and engagement. A
combination of A/B testing, iterative AI prompting, and focus groups was used. The research
compared the performance of ChatGPT-3.5 and ChatGPT-4.0 in generating AI responses that blend
well with human responses.
Results indicate that ChatGPT-4.0 integrates better with human responses, enhancing the gameandapos;s
ability to encourage thoughtful dialogue and improve user engagement. The redesigned user
interface, with a more intuitive matching mechanism and appealing visuals, further enhanced the
user experience. Testing of the updated Figma prototype showed increased user enjoyment and
engagement.
The study concludes with recommendations for further development, including the introduction of
dynamic AI prompts and additional game modes to ensure Reveal continues to meet the evolving
needs of its target audience and remains a relevant tool for promoting philosophical discussions.
