Samenvatting

The white paper provides insights into the transformation of the TCLF sector, with a special focus on the Netherlands and Europe, undertaking the Twin (green and digital) transition. Besides reporting on the various challenges and opportunities, the paper also reflects on the importance of stakeholder collaboration in the ecosystem to pave the way towards a circular, thriving TCLF sector. While legislation is temporarily increasing the administrative burden for companies to become more transparent, the new requirements regarding data sharing are promising to increase visibility on the different product life-cycle stages (i.e. through DPP), supporting policy-makers in levelling the playing field in a heavily globalised industry.
