Samenvatting

In recent years, artificial intelligence (AI) has begun to reshape creative workflows across the
game industry, offering new possibilities for artists and developers alike. This graduation project
investigates how AI-powered tools can be harnessed to improve the efficiency and creativity of
3D asset creation for Shadows of Singraven, a first-person horror game with a stylized visual
identity rooted in Dutch folklore. The research evaluates whether AI solutions such as Meshy AI
and Ludo.ai can accelerate asset production without sacrificing quality or atmosphere,
compares the creative flexibility and control offered by these tools against traditional Blender
based methods, and designs a practical workflow that combines the strengths of both
approaches. A hybrid methodology was employed: AI-driven tools were used to generate 3D
models and textures, which were then refined and integrated using manual techniques to
ensure stylistic consistency and technical performance.
