Samenvatting

Goal:Create an e-learning or gamified prototype to increase the awareness of Dutch teenagers.Relevance:Today’s environment is devastated by the impact of fast fashion. People and planet suffer from the consequences of pollution and bad working environments. This project is created to increase the awareness of those problems and offer an easy to digest solution for teenagers to change their behavior and understand the impact of the fashion industry.The main question of this project is:How to create an interactive prototype that increases the awareness of sustainable clothing and textiles and motivates teenagers (13 – 18 years) through e-learning or gamified learning to act more sustainable?The Product:The product is an Adobe XD prototype which makes use of emotional storytelling.The user can choose between different options (like dialog screens in games), answer a quiz, see the impact of fast fashion and what actions the user can take to become more sustainable.Methods:Literature ResearchPrototypingUser Surveys and Usability Test + ObservationConclusion:The prototype outlines the fundamental design decisions.The target audience enjoyed the experience, but it is unclear if the prototype had any significant impact on them.
