Samenvatting

ENPICOM is a biotechnology company shifting its focus toward machine learning operations (MLOps), but its branding did not reflect this change. Brand materials were inconsistent and lacked a clear direction, which made it difficult for designers and marketers to maintain a unified identity. This project aimed to create an interactive brand book to help multimedia designers produce internal and external materials that align with ENPICOM’s visual and verbal identity. The main research question focused on how an interactive brand book can support consistent branding. The sub-questions explored which materials are essential, how Figma can be used to support usability and collaboration, and who the primary users of the brand book are. Research was conducted through competitor analysis, stakeholder input, and user testing with internal designers. The outcome was a working version of the brand book that improved clarity and consistency across visual materials. However, feedback revealed areas for improvement, including limited navigation options, a lack of visual examples, and missing downloadable assets. Some users also requested a clearer explanation of the reasoning behind design choices. Based on these findings, the final recommendations were to expand the template and asset libraries, improve navigation, and add a short preface explaining the design decisions. The interactive brand book now provides ENPICOM with a clear and flexible system that can continue to support consistent branding as the company develops and grows.
