In this research, the most important question is:
What is the effect of having Psychomotor Therapy at Optima Forma to children in the age of 7 to 13 who need help to increase the defensibility on the interaction between mother and child?
Motive: At Optima Forma parents of the treated child are often involved in the treatment, but this happens without it being substantiated by a research.
Goal: The goal of this research is to show the effect on the interaction between mother and child during a Psychomotoric treatment at Optima Forma.
Method: At first we try to go deeper into the theoretical knowledge concerning interaction, the influence of interaction on the development of the child and the influence of involving the system in the treatment for the child. Then a practical research has been carried out between five clients with help of the OKIV-R.
Conclusion: Seeing the theoretical enhancement there is a great need to involve the system in the treatment of the child. The interaction between mother and child is very important. The results of the practical research show, though, that there have been positive as well as negative effects.
