A large consortium of project-partners joined forces to rethink the modern use of fuel in aviation. Contributing to this cause is Clean Tech Aviation B.V., which was officially opened on the 27th of october. Several speakers took the stage that day and Prof. dr.ir. J.A.M. Dam was one of them.

Tijdens het eindsymposium van het Flexiheat project gaf lector dr.ir. J. Dam een samenvattende startpresentatie over warmtenetten, en de uitdagingen die met name hybride warmtenetten met zich meebrengen.

In may 2016 dr. ir. J. Dam officially started his professorship at the Hanze University of Applied Science. As is tradition, he presented his hopes and plans for the Centre of Expertise - Energy in regards to Sustainable LNG Technology.

Prof. dr.ir. J. Dam gave a quest lecture at the University of Twente about LNG and it's potential. He discussed the development of LNG form it's discovery as Liquified Natural Gas till the future possibilities.

Tijdens een LNG informatiemarkt gaf prof. dr. ir. J. Dam een korte presentatie over de inzet van LNG als wereldwijde energiebron. Hierbij kwamen de laatste ontwikkelingen en mogelijkheden aan bod, maar ook de problemen die het met zich meebrengt.

On the 24th of august a presentation was given as part of a funding campaign for a CTA research-project. Prof. dr. ir J. Dam talked about aviaton-specific topics in regard to fuels, economics and inviromental impact and of course; the possibilities for a LNG fuel-system.
