Tijdens de jaarlijkse Beta Battle kwamen bijna 100 scholieren vanuit Noord-Nederland naar de Rijksuniversiteit Groningen om allerlei workshops en activiteiten bij te wonen omtrent techniek en wetenschap. Zo werd ook de We-Energy Game gespeeld in 4 rondes.

Een aantal studenten van Ruimtelijke Wetenschappen hebben in het kader van de New Energy Coalition de We-Energy Game gespeeld. Het doel was om hen kennis en inzicht te geven omtrent de energietransitie.

Op de Hogeschool West-Vlaanderen is de We-Energy Game gespeeld. Het doel was om studenten inzicht te geven in de energietransitie en bewustwording te creëren.

Vanuit het ministerie van Economische Zaken en Klimaat en Binnenlandse Zaken en Koninkrijkrelaties kwam een aantal afgevaardigden om het project Waterstofwijk Hoogeveen te bekijken. Dr. ir. J.J. Aué gaf hierbij tekst en uitleg.

Tijdens een bijeenkomst in Nieuw Laarhof werd het project 10.000 Slimme huishoudens gepresenteerd aan potentiele deelnemers.

In Valthe werd een informatiesessie gehouden over duurzaamheid, het lectoraat Communication, Behaviour & The Sustainable Society en het project 10.000 Slimme huishoudens. De aanwezigen werden uitgenodigd om zich aan te sluiten bij het project.
