Binnen I-Balance is onderzoek gedaan naar de aansturing van een vloot brandstofcellen om daarmee aan de elektriciteitsvraag van een aantal huishoudens in Hooghalen te voldoen.

Tijdens een LNG informatiemarkt gaf prof. dr. ir. J. Dam een korte presentatie over de inzet van LNG als wereldwijde energiebron. Hierbij kwamen de laatste ontwikkelingen en mogelijkheden aan bod, maar ook de problemen die het met zich meebrengt.
