An exploration on how the elements of social learning can be provided in a virtual environment for female talent management
Samenvatting
The three key concepts of the research are Social Learning Theory, a virtual environment and female talent management. In this context, the elements to the Social Learning Theory (SLT); attention, retention, reproduction and motivation appeared relevant for further investigation. Four propositions were originated, based on this. semi-structured interviews were conducted with nine females professionals active in a virtual environment. Based on the findings of this study, it can be concluded that the elements: attention, retention and motivation to the theory of Social Learning can be facilitated in a virtual environment for female talent management in case that certain critical elements are present.
