Samenvatting

This thesis is written for Saxion HBS that is part of Saxion University of Applied Sciences. With different bachelor and master programmes, offered in Dutch or English, a significant number of students graduate and receive their degree in hospitality.
This research aimed to advise Saxion HBS on how to improve its alumni policy and to increase alumni engagement. Alumni engagement is a familiar theme for organisations operating in higher education. Establishing a relationship with alumni thats lasts a lifelong, is difficult to realise. Therefore, a qualiative research was conducter where the researcher conducted a multiple case study to learn from experts in the field.
The results have shown that other educational organisations take more and different initiatives to keep their alumni engaged. These findings were used to formulate an advice and to develop an engagement plan.
