Samenvatting

This paper covers the process of re-designing the artwork for an application called Spiroplay. The Spiroplay application is a gamified spirometry test built for Android tablets, with a target audience of children between 6-11 years old. Inspiration for the artwork was found in children 's entertainment sources such as animated series and short films. The student created various concepts for this project, and tested them with the target audience in order to ensure that it looks appealing. The final product was built in the Unity game engine, and the animations were created using Adobe Phototshop. Testing the final product with the target audience helped with prioritizing which levels needed to be polishes.Overall, the product was deemed as appealing by the target audience and it added value to the client.
