Samenvatting

This is the graduation report for the project Authentication Enhancement that I worked on featuring various methods of passwordless authentication using technologies as WebAuthn API, REST API and WebSocket, with the support of a hybrid mobile application developed in Flutter. The project features a QR code authentication and Biometrics authentication using the hybrid mobile application native features, and a mehod using the WebAuthn API that allows the user to use the laptop fingerprint sensor or Windows Hello / Touch ID PIN to succesfully authenticate. Research, decisions and challenges encountered are presented and discussed.
