Samenvatting

Several carbon-neutral towns are investigating novel technological solutions to enable a green energy transition that incorporates increasing proportions of locally generated energy. More efficient integrated energy solutions for electricity, heat, water, waste, and transportation infrastructure must be created to achieve this goal. Part of the larger scope is the intention to provide inhabitants of these communities with an interactive dashboard to monitor their energy consumption. This thesis seeks to learn how to create an interactive energy analysis tool that is user-friendly and simply accessible, as well as including all necessary information for communities. As a result, the following research question is suggested: How to design an easily accessible analysis tool with a user-friendly interface that enables all residents from Vriendenerf and Aardehuis to view the energy data that is relevant to their community while also changing their energy-conscious behavior through? During the project, desk research, literature review, testing, and an in-person survey with the target users will jointly lead to an answer to the research question.
