Samenvatting

Current road lighting systems are outdated and should be replaced with systems which can sense their environment and even weather changes, i.e. users that are passing with consumer electronic devices such as mobile phones. Systems such as these should then react intelligently. In this way these future systems would utilize energy only when it is needed.
