Samenvatting

The current study investigated whether different centre of pressure thresholds alter the categorization of foot strike patterns when using the strike index. As the strike index is measured with kinematic data, the Arion was used. The Arion, created by ATO-GEAR is a pressure sensitive insole that measures the centre of pressure and other variables. No conclusive results were found, and further research should be done before implementing higher thresholds as the norm into a clinical setting.
