This article discusses the development of simulation models in the energy education of tomorrow, in order to gain deeper insight into the functioning of technical installations. The related research focuses on designing a method to simulate complex hydraulic systems and to incorporate these simulations into modern energy education
in the form of “Serious Gaming.” This study can also contribute to topics such as Digital Twins and gaining digital skills.
