This Justification Logfile documents the research-based strategies and decisions for the annual STEAM and space festival "HELLO SPACE | Bulgaria Calling!" in Bulgaria. Utilizing Scaled Agile Framework (SAFe) principles, this report supports strategic initiatives aimed at improving the festival’s visibility and impact within the educational sector. A mixed-methods research approach, combining interviews and market analysis, was employed to address challenges including the festival’s limited brand recognition and year-round engagement.
Findings indicate a growing demand for STEAM (Science, Technology, Engineering, Arts, and Mathematics) education in Bulgaria, driven by the tech sector's expansion and government educational initiatives. To address these challenges and opportunities, a threefold strategy is proposed: redesigning the HELLO SPACE website to offer engaging year-round content, launching a series of year-round STEAM events to increase in-person engagement, and
implementing a comprehensive social media strategy to boost online presence. These initiatives aim to establish HELLO SPACE as an independent, leading educational platform, enhancing its sustainability and outreach. This logfile serves as a comprehensive plan to align the festival’s growth with broader educational and economic trends in Bulgaria, ensuring its long-term success and impact.
