Om de diagnostiek van infecties met Clostridium difficile en Shigatoxineproducerende Escherichia coli (STEC) te verbeteren, is voor beide bacteriën een real-time PCR ontwikkeld. Dit verslag beschrijft het opzetten van de Clostridium-PCR en het valideren van zowel de Clostridium- als de STEC-PCR.
