Voor het bedrijf Actemium is een veiligheidssysteem ontworpen voor het demo model van de EduLab ProcessCell. Hiervoor is onderzoek gedaan naar de normen voor functionele veiligheid (IEC61508 en IEC61511) en zijn een aantal standaarddocumenten ontworpen om deze normen te volgen.
