Samenvatting

This study analyses the information flow in the sugar bean value chain in Zimbabwe that involves farmers at Mkoba and Insukamini smallholder irrigation schemes. The study paid particular attention to the essential bottlenecks in which farmers and PHI Commodities view as the stumbling block in improving the sugar beans value chain. The challenge areas identified included the production, market & prices, finance and the quality & standards challenge areas.
