Samenvatting

Citrus farming is a popular enterprise among smallholder farmers in the Teso sub-region of eastern Uganda and has considerable attention from Government. However, inadequate agricultural market information is cited as one of the major hindrances to market access by smallholder farmers in the area. This study was conducted in Kumi district to assess agricultural market information access, use, and needs among smallholder citrus farmers with a view of advising the district on practical ways to enhance market information flow in the citrus value chain.
