“Catch the Drop”
a rainwater harvesting experiment on St Eustatius“Catch the Drop”
a rainwater harvesting experiment on St EustatiusSamenvatting
On the Caribbean island of St. Eustatius – locally known as Statia – growing food is not easy. Water is scarce, fresh vegetables are expensive, and young people do not see agriculture as their dream career. Through the project Food Resilient Futures, joint experiments are being carried out to explore practical ways to improve the food system and water management, starting small, working together, and above all: strengthening local ownership.
