The aim of this systematic review was to evaluate the measurement properties (reliability, validity and responsiveness) of the 5 times sit-to-stand test used among healthy elderlies (aged 60 and more). By means of the COSMIN checklist and the evaluation of the measurement properties, the following conclusion could be reached: the 5 times sit-to-stand test is a reliable and valid tool for the assessment of healthy elderlies. Its responsiveness is not clear.
