Future-proof labs: integrating co-design with transition challenge process and competency
Samenvatting
Future Proof Labs (FPL) was a four-year research project funded by CLICKNL. It was fundamentally oriented toward co-design in contexts of societal transition. The project brought together academic researchers, practitioners, and a broad network of social design bureaus to collaboratively develop and test a framework as well as new methods and tools for navigating complex change together. This approach is rooted in the recognition that transitions, such as those toward carbon neutrality or responsible digitalization, require multidisciplinary collaboration and collective learning. The deployment of local experimental environments to learn together and scale from, was considered as central to this approach.
