"This poster presents a cross-border initiative to develop a harmonised, industry-aligned education framework for entry-level offshore wind technicians. The collaboration
connects vocational educators, industry representatives, and policymakers to co-create a suite of shared training modules based on a common European competency framework.
These modules are now being implemented through regional vocational excellence centres, including short technician training programmes, new wind energy education pathways, and pilot testing across vocational schools.
The work demonstrates that harmonisation in vocational education is achievable through cooperation and co-design. By linking regional centres into a wider European network, the initiative ensures lasting impact beyond its project timeline — fostering innovation, alignment, and a skilled, future-ready offshore wind workforce."
