Launch event in the framework of ARTICULATE. Art & Research days and Art x Research x City, in collaboration with ARIA. This programme will take place on 18 October 2024 at the Royal Conservatoire Antwerp (Desguinlei 25, 2018 Antwerp).Dear enthusiasts of research in the arts,We want to extend a warm welcome for the launch of the new FORUM+ issue on 18 October 2024 in “Witte Zaal” at Royal Conservatoire Antwerp from 2.00 to 3.30 pm. In collaboration with ARIA, FORUM+ will present a panel to celebrate this new edition. To stay close to the issue’s contents, we invited several authors to present their contribution:+ Henny Dörr (HKU University of the Arts) – Author of the editorial “Slowing down” (“Vertragen”)+ Frederik De Bleser (Sint Lucas Antwerp) – Co-author of “I’m sorry you feel that way”+ Linde Ex (University of Groningen | Minerva Art Academy) – Author of “How to approach and engage with underwhelming landscapes”+ Kristof Timmerman (Royal Academy of Fine Arts Antwerp) – Author of “Towards transdisciplinarity” (“Ruimte voor transdisciplinariteit”)+ Veerle Spronck (HKU University of the Arts) – Author of “Situating, sensitizing, speculating” (“Situeren, sensitiveren, speculeren”)At noon, you can enjoy a performance and lunch panel organized by the UP - Performance in Perspective research group. The FORUM+ panel will subsequently take place between 2.00 and 3.30 pm in Witte Zaal.
