The main objective of this study was to analyse food loss and waste (FLW) at the production, collection, processing, distribution, and consumption level with focus on smallholder farmers in avocado value chain in Nandi County, Kenya. The findings from this study show that there is high rate of FLW produced in avocado value chain in Nandi County. This research has been carried out as part of Food Waste Reduction and Food Quality Living LAB FORQLAB – Kenya Project
