Samenvatting

Anthropogenic influences in the form of recreation and logging activities cause disturbance to the presence of birds in nature areas. Nature reserve Zompo lo Schioppo is an area with a high potential of biodiversity but where also recreation and logging are strongly facilitated. Therefore, it is important to monitor what the effects of anthropogenic influence are in the area. The following research question is investigated and discussed in this research: “What is the effect of anthropogenic influence on the presence of bird species in nature reserve Zompo lo Schioppo?”. The objective of this research is to provide insights on the effects of anthropogenic influence on of birds, in order to evaluate and revise the current conservation strategies of the nature reserve.
