Samenvatting

The intense impact of drought in Baidabo, Somalia, resulting in the displacement of millions of people, the loss of millions of livestock, and the unfortunate loss of thousands of lives, underscores the need to focus on understanding the drought preparedness of pastoralist communities in the region. This research aims to examine the vulnerability, capacity, and practices of pastoral communities in the Bay Region, Somalia, and their preparedness for climate-induced drought.
