Internal displacement has been one of the major crises in Yemen since the escalation on of the war in 2015. The conflict has forced people to flee their homes and lands searching for safer places. Displacement has disrupted the livelihoods of these people, leaving them with severe shortagesof necessities like food and shelter. Marib Governorate has become the destination for one-third of Yemen's displaced population. Marib City District, the capital of the governorate, is home to over 150,000 internally displaced people (IDPs) living in 65 camps. Focusing on these displaced people, this research explores the key factors influencing developing their livelihood strategies.
