This research explores the pressing issue of employment challenges faced by care leavers in Eldoret, Kenya, focusing on the factors contributing to their heightened vulnerability to unemployment. Guided by the question, "What are the factors contributing to the vulnerability of care leavers in experiencing unemployment?" this study employs the Sustainable Livelihoods Framework to uncover the complex interplay of social, educational, and policy-related elements that impact care leavers' transition to independence.
