Samenvatting

This research was conducted as part of the requirements for the Van Hall Larenstein University of Applied Sciences' Master of Management Development, Specialization in Food and Nutrition Security. Gardenology Kenya is the research's commissioner. This research was carried out from July to August 2024 in Kajiado County, specifically Isinya Sub-County, Kenya. The output of the research will be an intervention plan for the commissioner to involve Maasai youth pastoralists in sustainable coping strategies to address challenges in water and pasture unavailability during recurring droughts. The Maasai community was chosen for this study because of the professional interest of the commissioner as well as my personal interest in the Maasai community.
