Using indigenous and local knowledge to mitigate food insecurity among rural households of Abergelle, Tigray, north Ethiopia with a special interest in drought and conflict situation
Samenvatting
This study explored the role of Indigenous and Local Knowledge in mitigating food insecurity caused by drought and conflict in the Abergelle District of Tigray, Ethiopia. A cross-sectional qualitative study was conducted from July to September 2024, utilizing both primary and secondary data sources. Primary data were collected through household interviews, key informant interviews, and focus group discussions, while Secondary data were sourced from existing literature, reports, and relevant documents, providing contextual background, theoretical frameworks, and insights from previous research to inform the study.
