Samenvatting

This bachelor thesis focused on investigating various aspects of a student homeroom at Saxion University of Applied Sciences, including design, management, finances, and marketing. The research aimed to enhance the understanding of student and staff preferences and needs related to homeroom design, management, and marketing. The findings of this study offer practical recommendations for educational institutions to create inviting and versatile spaces that promote student engagement and well-being. Furthermore, the insights gained regarding efficient room management systems, effective marketing strategies, and the significance of staff behavior and support can guide the development and implementation of initiatives aimed at fostering a sense of community, inclusivity, and ownership within educational institutions.
