This paper sets out to find out what is needed to take an interactive application that aims to garner interest in local folklore from a prototype to a final product as a lead designer. To do this, first research is done into the role of a lead designer and the scope of the project is established.
Then, the wishes, requirements and goals of the clients are explored and made into three lists of tasks covering three design principles: narrative, puzzles/gameplay and implementation/communication. These lists are then split into two phases: production and implementation.
Next, the paper goes over the process of carrying out these tasks, showing the work process and results, including user tests and iterations.
In the end, final interviews are conducted with the clients to find out if their wishes, requirements and goals were met.
Finally, the positive results of these interviews are used to validate the work that was carried out and with this, a method is proposed which leads to the final list of tasks which in term serve as the answer to the problem statement.
