How can applied research in Facility Management accelerate the implementation of the UN Sustainable Development Goals? This interactive workshop invites academics and professionals in FM to reimagine their role as change agents for sustainable transformation. We will explore how research can drive SDG implementation – from good health and wellbeing to climate action, quality education, decent work and economic growth to reduced inequalities. Our community can do it all.Together, we will uncover how research can showcase practical paths of implementation, vice versa. In small, dynamic teams, you will co-create and pitch SDG-driven FM innovations: tangible ideas that turn buildings and services into catalysts for societal change. You will leave with actionable insights, a shared language for impact, and a renewed sense of purpose – proving that the path to 2030 starts with how we manage and study our facilities today.
