Samenvatting

Every type of dementia has specific motor dysfunctions. Movement disorders are already visible in a very early stage of dementia. Physiotherapists need to know more about these movement disorders and how to intervene. In this lecture insight will be given into these movement disorders, effective interventions in dementia care and reliable and valid assessment instruments to evaluate the effect of these interventions in daily care.
